Recipe: Watermelon Protein Smoothie

Don’t miss out on summer festivities! This light, refreshing beverage is a great way to get your protein in and sip a delicious summer drink. With only four ingredients, one of them highly alkalizing, you’ll be able to enjoy a cookout or pool party with an ice cold drink and absolutely no guilt.

The main ingredient here, aside from TB12™ Protein, is watermelon! Watermelon is a summer staple, as it’s in season and very hydrating — it’s also jam-packed with a bunch of healthy nutrients! Not only is it full of vitamins and antioxidants, it’s highly alkalizing and anti-inflammatory, too, making it a perfectly TB12-aligned food!

Raw unfiltered honey adds more natural sweetness to the drink, as well as antioxidant power and healing properties. It’s the finishing touch on this drink, and the final product is a super healthy, refreshing summer beverage. Share it with your friends, too!

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups watermelon, diced
  • 1 Tbsp raw unfiltered honey
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 1 - 1½ scoop TB12 Protein
